Refund policy

LAYAWAY

Items may be placed on interest-free layaway for up to 180 days.  A 20% minimum deposit is required with subsequent equal payments due each month.  If items are not paid in full after 180 days, they will be returned to stock.  The customer will be refunded the amount paid, minus a $100 restocking fee.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We will gladly exchange or refund your purchase, in original condition and accompanied by its original receipt within 30 days of original purchase date.  Special orders, modified items and custom orders are not returnable, unless the item ordered can be returned to its respective vendor.  Any restocking charge by the vendor is the responsibility of the customer. 

Credits or refunds will be issued in accordance with the original method of payment.  Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

 

CUSTOM ITEMS

Any custom item created by us requires a $100 deposit for the wax carving.  This deposit will be credited to the full cost of the finished piece.  Custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable.  All designs are the sole ownership of Jonathan’s Jewelers. 

 

REPAIR POLICIES

All store merchandise will be repaired at no charge for up to one year from the date of purchase, which includes one sizing, stone tightening, polishing and one watch battery.  Our repair work is guaranteed for one year, when accompanied by a receipt. 

All watches are cleaned with latest ultrasonic cleaning equipment, electronically timed, and adjusted to the capabilities of the watch.  Watch overhauls are warrantied for one year.  The warranty does not cover watches which have been abused, tampered with, or if the watch shows signs of rust resulting from water damage.  We are not responsible for worn or broken parts which were not necessary to replace at the time of the overhaul.  There are no warranties on crystals, stems or crowns, or watchbands.  Once a water-resistant watch has been opened to change the battery, it may no longer retain its water resistance.  We do not warranty any water-resistant watch against leakage unless it has undergone pressure-test after a battery change.
