Assistant Sales Associate - Part Time

Position Overview

Jonathan’s Jewelers is seeking a qualified Sales Associate with at least a year of experience to join our established and respected team in Bedford, NH. Qualified candidates should have a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor as well as a basic knowledge of jewelry and gemstones. Solid computer and point-of-sale skills with a steady organizational and administrative approach is ideal. Familiarity with photography is a plus.

We’re looking for candidates who take pride in going above and beyond for customers and co-workers, are helpful and authentic, and have a desire to grow and improve their sales and customer service skills. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Part-time schedules include some Saturdays and evenings, with flexibility for specific time off requests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and actively ensure their needs are met

  • Answer/screen incoming telephone calls, provide order statuses

  • Call and email customers with quotes and when jobs/orders are complete

  • Set up and breakdown jewelry displays and cases when opening or closing

  • Maintain a clean and welcoming showroom (glass, floors, etc.)

  • Prepare pearl/watch repair deliveries and packages for shipment

  • Log and file appraisals, orders, and job tickets

  • Restock gift boxes, bags, wrapping supplies, etc.

  • Assist with special projects as needed
